I set option 15 to on and have the positive door trigger connected but it does not stay running when i take the key out like I was told it was going to. What should the manual transmission mode do and how do I get it to do so?

The Hyundai has a (-) trigger wire not a (+) one. You should have used the YELLOW wire at the BCM for your door trigger wire.

I'm sorry it was negative but the tech paper said positive and I did use the yellow wire. it seems no different at all with option 15 turned on. Was I misinformed by crimestopper support as to what it was supposed to do?

Crimestopper support is very reliable(especially Larry),I looked in the CS2015 manual and option 15 isn't used, double check your option list. What feature are you trying to get anyway?

I must not have the same 2015 manual as you because I don't see anything for option 15.(sorry).

It is a hidden option so Crimetopper is not liable for remote starting a manual transmission.

I can't help out then because it's new to me!the last Crimestopper I did with a manual trans I just bypassed the clutch switch with the neg ign out wire,The owner has to get use to leaving the car in nuetral!

ell with option 15 you can cover your ass because it makes the user go through special steps in order to remote start the car. I got it working by the way. What you have to do it predd the remote start button, wait 10 seconds arm the alarm and then the motor shuts off. If a door is opened afterward the car will not remote start. Thus by having the car run until you get out of it it makes sure the car is in neutral.

CS2015FM and I believe the CS2011 have the feature. I will send you a copy when I return from PA or simply call crimestopper tech support and ask larry to fax it to you. He did for me today

Anyone know if the new cs2004tw1 has the same fuctions for starting a manual tranny vehicle? I like the subtle looks of that led 2 way remote.
