I am using a Dei 555L module to bypass the passlock 2 on a cavalier with a bulldog 1200e remote starter. Well it says that the blue/black wire is status input (-) so what wire should I connect it to on the remote starter? It says the pink wire is ignition input (+) and should be connected to the wire on the starter that connects to the main ignition, which wire is this?

The pink wire will go to the pink (+) ignition 1 wire in your car. Or tap it in to the ignition 1 (+) output on your remote start unit (white wire?) which will go to the pink (+) ignition 1 wire in your car.

The blue/black (-) status wire is going to connect to the ignition NEGATIVE output. Which on your unit I believe is also white.

If your ignition 1 (+) and ignition (-) are both white wires on your module like it seems, make sure you connect to the right ones!

Good luck,

Mike

I found out that a status wire is the same as an activation wire and on my remote starter its called an activation wire. Then I found the ignition positive wire on the starter so now it works great. Just wish I had my 30 bucks back from buying the piece of sh*t bulldogg 791
