I've read an old post about the circuit board in the remote/transmitter cracking from pushing the buttons too hard.  I think my remote just died from that problem.  Does anyone know if Viper is providing free replacements with their 791XV remotes to replace their "defective" 790XV remotes?  Thanks.

i think of youre to take it back to ur installer to get them to send it back to DEi for a free replacement.

BTW, the problem that ur mentioned, i believe, is one of the plug inside the remote is de-soldered.
