Today, I install a primestart x20 onto a Mazda Mpv 2003.
After the tach. wire connected, and tach learning sucessful. All the alarm function are working well, except the remote starting. After the remote start button was pressed, one beep comes out which means acknowledgement of remote signal, but the car is not started and giving out 2 beeps.
Can anyone please teach me what to do and what is wrong ?
Note : after the remote start button pressed, a positive has appeared on the starter wire, but no cranking.
Also the car is not equipped with imobiliser

check your ignition wires

That's weird because even if you have an ignition wire not being powered up, giving 12 volts to the starter wire should still engage the starter solenoid. My information tells me that you do have an immobilizer system for the starter & fuel management system on this van. Have you tried placing the key in the cylinder and trying to start the vehicle ?

The ignition wire has been checked correctly connected.
I have put the key into the cylinder, but same result.

This vehicle has an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed when adding remote start.
