Would you say almost Too Bright? I don't need one that will blind me..lol

Dude.. I'm still trying to figure out what alarm system I should get. Starting to burn myself out. My car is blue and I already have a blue lcd clock mod, so I figured maybe a blue status light would look nice when I get a blue LCD pioneer put in later. They need a multicolor status LED!!

Why not pick the alarm you want based on features that aren't easy to change.
You can easily switch any alarm to use blue LEDs.

The + power from an Alarm that is built for a red LED is a lot less than what a blue LED needs. So I'm not sure there is much room for modding a red into blue light. Red is like 1.5volts ?? and Blue is like 5 or 6volts is my best guess.

Compustar uses blue LEDs, too. Blue LEDs usually take about 3-3.5 volts. I always use blue LEDs, and have switched red to blue an almost every make of alarm without incident. Steve #1 is right, just pick on alarm based on features, and get a blue LED from Varad or Radio Shack.

I sent off for my alarm system last night.
EXCALIBUR ATV1000 for 69$ (omega brand)

I guess when it gets here I'll test the led volts and get a blue one from radioshack. posted_image
