Hey all,
Doing an install for a buddy of mine with a '95 Honda DelSol... It's a manual, so you have to push the clutch in to start it, even if it's in neutral. He wants to put remote start in there, and I remember hearing about I need to use a relay to bypass the clutch safety switch? Not sure if this is correct... But I've got buttloads of relays here, so if you could just hook me up with a diagram and a quick and dirty walkthrough, I'd appreciate it. Thanks guys.

i was going to do that on my 91 eclipse because there is just a little part you take out to bypass the clutch but i talked myself out of it because if you remote start while its in gear you could really do some damage as well as injure someone.
I did it as a favor for one of my friends, which he brought me an off brand alarm/rs combo that he had bought of ebay. So I did him that favor (After he told me tha he swore that he never left it in gear EVER!)........RIGHT!
Then what happens.....He lets a friend the car and leaves it in gear (reverse since he has in a hill in a shopping center) and then he comes out of the store and fires it up .....And all he could here is ppl screaming to get some help!!,cause his car was over an old lady that was walking behind his car with her groceries. And now he is paying up big time for a sinple mistake of putting a R/S on a manual car.
LAST TIME I EVER DO THIS!!!!!
I wouldn't advice RS on a manual. Too many things that could go wrong.

Don't let the smoke out of your equiptment..it doesn't go back in.
get a Mannix sistem from e-bay they have a safety feature that does not let you leave in gear and is about $130 and is a 2 way sistem
