hey guys, i have a 99 civic and my car has a wire for the trunk pin. I bought a csi 300 and added a hood pin to it. I wired everything up but i forgot to tap into the trunk pin wire. Does anyone know if all i have to do is use the same wire and cut it and make it tap into both the hood pin wire and the trunk pin wire? maybe this is a stupid question but i just wanted to make sure there was no other specific way of doing this, i also wanted to make sure i didnt screw up any of the cars wiring system.  Thanks in advance.

The OEM alarm plug is to the right side of the steering column. The plug is green. The wire color is BLUE/BLACK and it's a (-) trigger wire that if you have it wired with the hood pin switch wire, you will need to diode isolate the two wires .
