I posted info a few days ago all issues cleared but one that I cannot get resolved.

I have a 01 Chevy Silverado and a DEI Rattler 369D R/S. Everything works but the door locks. I connected them to the  wires at the BCM under the steering and nothing. If I touch the BCM wires w/ 12V + it locks and unlocks, however the 369D will not do it. The manual states it works for + and - output on type A locks w/ no modules needed.

I must be doing something wrong but I cannot figure it out. I am pretty sure they are type A locks on my truck, yet on DEI website the door lock guide stated all 89 + Chevy Truks/SUV's have type C? I tested the output of the 369D and it is +, but not a strong 12V's.  I tried calling DEI - no luck won't talk to me, C/C where I bought the 369D cannot talk due to liability issues?

Any Suggestions?

The unit does put out + and -. This is exactly wht the unit states for the door lock wires:

Blue: (- unlock / + Lock)
Green: (- lock / + Unlock)

The manual does not have anything about programming that changes this to - or + output, and there is no jumper on the unit. It simply states it can do both.

hook the purple to 12v constant, cap off the WHITE/ black and BROWN / black seperately.  then use blue/black and GREEN/ black just as if they were the normal blue and green lock wires.  basically all you are doing is using the 12v constant to drive the locks instead of the brain.  its nothing hard.
