I removed the G5 from my friends car and installed it into mines. After all the wiring was done, I put the fuses in and seen the parking lights flash. However there is no response from the alarm when I press the buttons on the remote?! Can anyone help?

      Make sure that the antenna is plugged in, the alarm will not respond  with out.

It was plugged in firmly. Any other things I may have overlooked?
