Hello everyone,

It's been a while since the last alarm that I have installed and want to run a couple things by you guys before installing a Python 1500 esp(D.E.I.) into a 91 lexus LS 400. Mainly the door locks? They are a direct connect to the factory unlock/lock right? No relays needed? Also the orange wire on the starter kill relay that goes to 12volt constant right? Oh and the trunk pop with channel 2 should use a relay and connect 85 to channel 2 on the alarm, 87 to ground, 86 to 12volts constant, 30 to the trunk release wire right? Thanks for all your help.

Power Lock GREEN/ YELLOW DRIVER KICK * #201
Power Unlock GREEN PANEL *

#201 See Negative Door Lock Circuit Diagram * These Wires Can ALso Be Found At Theft Deterrent And Door Lock Control Unit (TDDLC) Located Behind Driver Dash, Above Fuse/Relay Block. At This Location GREEN/ YELLOW Will Lock & Arm, GREEN / WHITE Will Unlock & Disarm. TDDLC Unit Can Be Dropped After Removing Two Bolts (One Hidden).

most alarms that use the orange wire for starter disable, is for the - when armed output....which pin is it going to on the relay????

Trunk Release BLUE (-) AT TRUNK RELEASE SWITCH #230
some alarms have a strong enough output to go stright to the release wire..not sure about yours, i would just add a relay as yu stated....as lond as the output wire is a - output...put a fuse on pin 86..min 10 amp..

on the pyton the orange wire is ground when armed and should just connect to the orange wire on the alarm brain, the yellow wire on the starter kill will go to ignition .

Trunk release - as long as its neg trigger , fuse it as draasch said, 85 neg channel 2 out put, 86 12 volts constant, 87 ground , 30 to trunk release wire. make sure this is a neg trigger not a 5 wire as some are.

good luck

Alarm is done. Thanks to everyone that helped. The funny thing is that this car came alive. My friend does not have the original remote for the factory alarm and lights and horns were going off. There were lights that were turning on that he did not know he had. It was to funny. Oh and very uncomfortable to work in and under that dash!
