Any thermo switch that can monitor interior temperature and send a ground signal to, say, open the sunroof when the ignition is off? Let say, when 100F is reached, it sends a ground and when it drops below 70F, it sends another ground (on another wire) to close the sunroof?

That might or might not tie to an alarm.

In California, we have never seen raining when it is sunny hot. Do we?

I am sure it can be done but it would take some ingenuity. It would probably take two adjustable thermo switches, a couple of limit switches, and a window module. Then again I don't recommend messing with sunroofs.

Maybe I should get a patent for that.
Be that turning on a fan to draw the hot air out or to vent the windows couple inches or to open the sunroof.

Derekc,

Get in touch with me,... I'm working on something similiar, although not for window drop or sunroof stuff,... DEI does have a 556T (I think) that is a time/temp controller.

Would you happen to know what part number this $18 DEI adjustable timer is and/or where we can get this?

We sure would appreciate it!

Many thanks,
Sean

my window module drops the windows 1" when the interior reaches 110°F and closes them back up at 80 or something

That could potentially save lives especially when you have kids.
I would do it.

SilvaStratus, you have a DEI 566T installed?
