I'm installing a remote starter but I need to know how to disable the OEM immobiliser on a Toyota 4runner 2004 or at least know where the brain is located in order to permanently disconnect it.

If anybody knows about this please help me out!

NOTE: Where I live, there are no Bypass Kits available in the market so I need to do this like the old times

-if you do that, you have to rewire ur ignition system. i know you dont want to do that.

-if someone point out the location of the unit, plz do not attempt to bypass it permanently. youll leave urself stranded w/o a car like one member here tried to bypass his immobilzer on his f150 supercrew.

-EBAY.com ur friend, take advantage of it.

Do not get cheap on this issue, or THIS WILL HAPPEN. You will not find any easy way to bypass the immobilizer. Buy a "Key in the box" type defeat, such as 555U. As far as no kits being available where you live, then buy one over the internet.

NOTE: As far as the location of the "brain", it is built into the ECU, engine control unit.

No bypasses available in Panama? Make one out of 22 gauge wire, a relay and a spare key.

You don't want to attempt to permanately disable the imobilizer.

Based on the above suggestions, I'll assume that the Toyota uses an RFID transponder system.

Here's a how-to for the old school DIY bypass JWorm mentioned.
