One more question to add to the other two I have:  where do you hook up the blue output trigger wire from a DEI back up batter to a 591xv alarm?  It says to the trigger input wire, but which one is that?

Yes, blue from backup battery to blue -instant trigger on alarm.

Buddy you dont have a security system. You dont have a trigger input. Sorry if you were uninformed.

Ah, that is right. The 591vx is just a remote start keyless not an alarm.

Regardless of that fact. That tiny DEI battery will not give you enough current to sustain the alarm for any reasonable amount of time.

Once you have upgraded the system. Go to the battery store and replace it with a 12 volt, 7.0 AH sealed gell, or sealed lead acid one.

They are aprox the size of a brick, and will supply enough current for many weeks. If you place them in parallel it will increase the current capacity.
