range extender?

Hey, I was looking at getting a 2-way lcd paging alarm and I was wondering if a range extender, like the ones found here https://www.autotoys.com/x/cust/home.php?cat=651 would work to increase the paging range. If not, is there any other way to increase the paging range. Thanks

i doubt it.... i sell lots of the Clifford 2.5 paging alarms and never had a customer complain about range.....

The thing is I park a long ways away from my car everyday and I don't want to spend the money on a two-way alarm for it to be out of range.
