Yeah i am having a bear of a time trying to find it DEI is no help anyone have any suggestions thanks..

Grab the injector wire ( non-common color ). This is your best bet aside from using alternator sense if the unit has this option.

02 Ram Diesel, tach can be had at the ECM on the passenger side of the firewall. Good luck getting an injector wire on a diesel, as the injectors are mechanical.... there is no solenoid. Anyways, tach at ECM on pass. firewall, BLACK/ grey stripe. Can be found in the large harness coming down from top of firewall..

The gas models are BLACK/ grey, however the diesel is gray/black in the same location as above.
