When testing a reverse polarity rest at ground door lock system, if a wire shows 12 volts for lock and you cut the wire in half both lock and unlock will stop working every time                          T/F??????????

I swear I can remeber this not working before but i don't know

That is correct:

U have 2 wires:
One is Ground on Lock which reverses to 12 volts on UnLock
One is 12volts on Lock which reverses to Ground on Unlock
When you cut one in half , that cuts the circuit
