I need a good car alarm woth a bunch of outputs.I need remote start output, driver door open output, passenger door open output, and trunk output. So I need a total of 4 aux. outputs. I have the crimestopper cs2004. When you press unlock once it will unlock both doors and the solenoid will pop open the driver door, hit a second time and the passenger door pops open. (2nd press of unlock is another output). But will unlocking the door and trying to trigger the drivers solenoid relay conflict. By this I mean can i be certain that the door will be "fully unlocked" by the time the solenoid triggers, b/c i know if you are holding the door handle wile unlocking it wont unlock.
If you know of an alarm with 4 or 5 outputs let me know.
Thanks

Hey Morgan;
Are you replacing the system you have now ? Most of the alarm/remote starter units have a about 1 or 2 AUX channels but have it's own designated starter button and trunk release button. The ones with two AUX channels will still work with what you have but the ones with one will also work with some installation time. Most systems have the priority unlock so that there is two separate unlock wires ( in your case one for the unlock of the drivers door and one for hte driver's solenoid ). The passenger side can be hooked up to one of the AUX channels for the door pop and the unlock will be normal. Is this what you were after ??

I decided i am not using any door locks at all nor the outside handles. I dont really need them if i have door poppers. I am installing a hidden safety switch so if I lose my keys r something i push the button and the door opens.
Thanks

When I usually do the door poppers I don't even use the lock and unlock wires.. there is no use for them if the handles are off! Some guys use window roll down as a precaution for the solenoids act up. I also piggy back 2 wires connected to the solenoids to some hidden part outside the vehicle as another precaution (if the battery dies).
The only alarm I used for poppers is the Viper 800.. It has around 8 channels. (you never know when you want to add more fancy stuff)
