I want to hook up a hidden camera on the inside of my truck that will turn on when the alarm is triggered. I want it to send the video to a compact flash card or some kind of mini removable media(ie. usb memory card) this way if i needed to i could remove the media card and plug it into my computer to view the video. My question is does anyone know where to find something like this or do you know a good electronics guy( i think it would not be too hard to build but i have no clue where to start) Let me know please.

You need some sort of brain (a computer, a digital videorecorder, or vcr) of some sorts to encode that information and digitize it so that it can be saved onto the card. You wont be able to save the  raw data coming off of the camera onto a flash card or a usb thumbdrive. the only thing that i can think of would be something that cops or taxi cabs use which are basically 12volt vcr's or tivo's in the trunk. check out supercircuits.com they may have something but gonna be expensive and probably not too practicle.
