I have a Jeep Grand Limited with a Viper 791 alarm with remote start.  Sometimes and when I say sometimes it only happened twice so far, but sometimes the DEI bypass does not work even if I try to start it with the key, the car starts and shots right off as if it does not acknowledge the bypass or the chip in the key.  Does anyone know why it does that or How I can fix it?

If the car is stalling even when you start with the key I don't think  its the bypass, you may have some other problem.

Yes I agree because the light on the dash with the key in the circle with the line through it that is telling you that there is not a key with a chip in the ignition comes on with the correct key or if I auto start it.  Like I said it has only happen twice and I have to crank the car until it recognizes the chip in the key.  If anyone knows how I can solve this problem please shout out, even any ideas of what it might be.  I do not want my wife to get stranded somewhere with the kids because of this.
