I've made my first attempt at installing a remote starter with door lock/unlock and trunk opener.  So far everything seems to work fine except for one minor problem.  The remote does not seem to want to disarm the alarm.

Details are:

'95 Acura Legend

RS900-VII Crimestopper remote starter

According to the wiring diagram on this site I should be looking for a GREEN/ Blue wire on the anti-theft module.  The problem is according to Acura's wiring diragrams there are multiple wires that are GREEN/ Blue, and and terminate at the security module.  The wires are labeled (in the book) with a superscript 1,2,3 etc.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks...

The target wire will test (-) at the driver's door key cylinder when you turn the key to unlock the door.

when you disarm it with the remote, does the alarm disarm, and not unlock or what.

When I unlock the car with the remote the alarm disables, and also if the alarm was tripped I can turn the alarm off by using the unlock button on the remote.

The problem is when I press start the alarm will trip, by pressing the unlock button the doors unlock and the alarm silences.

also opening the trunk sets the alarm off (if I don't open the doors first)

Check this link out here:

It says "OEM Alarm Disarm: GREEN/ RED (-)DASH TO RIGHT OF STEERING COLUMN" BTW it is for a 95 Legend Sedan.

Check that out..Hook the ORANGE / black wire from the crimestopper to that wire... See if it works.

BTW the legend has the factory arm/disarm tied into the door lock/unlock circuit. That is why when you unlock doors, the alarm shuts up.. Post back here with results..
