Were do I start, I got this 2way pager alarm/starter  for xmas from ebay. Now there are 3 places around here 2 of wich will not even think of installing it because it wasn't purchesed at their place, and the 3rd wants $200.00 to do it. I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cerokee Limited and I guess with the quote 1wire door lock system in this car I need a modual to interface this ( it has a factory key less entry but no alarm/remote start) the CD Roms I've bought and the install instuctions dont show in detail enough for a mechanic friend willing to help but is afraid of screwing up the car. I have 3 blowen disc's in my lower back and im laid up and cant do this nor much more of the info legg work to find this Interfacing modual. Nor will these 3 Install companies sell me this modual nor will they sell me the relays if I / my mechanic friend need them to get this thing in and working. can anyone help me out here with what this Interfacing modual is correctly named and or were or if I can buy this and the common relays or if you know anyone in the Central Upper Pennisula of Michigan ( Marquette,Mi.) that can give me a fair price on installing this Mannix SM700 Starter / Alarm  You can email me direct supertrucker529a@yahoo.com  Cliff

If you want my advice don't even try doing this cause you ll need a special module to make the door locks work.  Without it good luck.  If you never worked in car starters, 200$ go for it.

I have just installed one of these alarms and they are so hard to get working correctly! it will take you ages to do and at the end the remote start proberbly wont work and the door locks will not work correctly. good idea for an alarm but too hard to fit and install by most people
