i went to the dei and it said the 791 has a defroster, i didn't see it in the install guide, how do i do it?

What kind of car are ya tryin to trigger the defroster on?

The 791xv has a defroster output that can be connected to the circuit in the car. It can be set to latched or pulsed. To go any further as KarTuneMan said we need to know the type of car.
