Against my better judgement, I'm installing keyless in my 94 finder. I have the wiring from this site (thanks, guys), but I'm having a hell of a time finding the door unlock/lock wires that are supposedly located in the driver's side kick panel. It's a pretty cheap model, but the truck's got 200k on it and I'm not willing to spend more. Here's the link for the 12v diagram.

Any help would be appreciated.

can you find BLACK / YELLOW and BLACK/ red wires or you they are not testing out to be lock and unlock wires.

I'm not finding the wires at all. I think I might have located the BLACK / YELLOW, but I don't see the BLACK/ red which I would imagine would be in the same cluster. Being colorblind isn't helping much. Is there a harness somewhere in the panel that I can use for a starting point?

Ooohhh !! Color blind and working with wires like this posted_image Sorry, I can't help you with this but it's there in the kick panle, just have to get someone that can help you fish them out. Try moving the loom of wires in the door boot to see if it helps to locate the wires in the kick panel.

I'm an installer and am red and green color blind. I've never really had a problem verifiying wires. I know I can still see wire colors just not on one of the tests at the doctor.  try using a test light. I never give out this advise cause I hate them, there is no resistance on them and can damage contol modules, however that vehicle is old enough that it won't hurt anything. Try to follow the wire harness from the drivers door boot if possible and start probing wires that you think may be them right ones. When you hit the coorect one with a test light, it will lock or unlock.
