Im new here to this site, but anywayz i want to install a keyless entry,remote start,alarm.. i want to install this on a 1996 ford f-150. my question is how hard is it? and what do i need to know and where can i get the info? im very good with electronic instals i have my own business but never encountered a remote start or alarm or anything i pretty much just deal with audio/video and custom inclosers.. it has power locks already and what alarm remote start would be best for the vehicle?? please get back to me and thanks for the help in advance!!

You came to the right place. The vehicle your installing into is a dasic one as well ( no PATS ) and the wiring is easy to access. The door locks are a little different but is easily integrated with a few relays. What system are you installing into this truck ?

im not really sure which one to use, there are so many out there?? have any sugestions?? i have looked around and all the system range from like 50-500.00 its a daily driver and work truck so there are tools kept in it (thats where the alarm comes in haha) I guess i am just looking for something above the basic model but not the best?? what do you suggest? thanks for all the help! i wish i would of found this site a while ago
