Any comments on this bypass. I will be using one this weekend on a 98 expidition. This is the firs time using this specific bypass so I was just wondering on any comments people have on this bypass.

they are a little finnicky on the pellet/vial placement, but no real problems......

they either work great on the first try , or youll be pulling your hair out swearing up and down trying to make them work. just from my experience at least. and if you do get it to work, and the pellet ever moves then you have the customer coming back because his vehicle wont remote start.

i wont even use them anymore, i buy a spare key for $6 and code them to fords, and make my own key box/ring

when i use to work for a company who carried astroflex/astrostart they had a great interface that tied right in with the factory wiring and learned the code... i miss that piece

I used a 555F on a rx300 recently. A pain to program but it works great. Couple of zip ties to make sure it stays in place and no problems.

I stay away from the 555f they suck. I'd rather fish the chip out the key and burry in the pod around the key ring.

the few 555f's i had left i threw the damn things in the garbage.
