Does anyone know, do I have to hook up the key sense wire for my IPPME module on a 2002 chev silverado? The directions say "hook up only if keysense wire shows a ground when the doors are closed and the key is in the ignition" If so where do I find them and what color are they?  Also when I am done programming my IPPME module when I start the vehicle and let it run for at least 10 seconds do I have to remove the programming jumper on the IPPME module?

None of the Passlock modules I've ever used has needed a key sense hookup...if yours does, I'd return it and buy something that's designed intelligently.

In any event, most GM key sense wires are green, and negative trigger.  I've never had occasion to look for this wire before, but the simplest way would be to remove the plastic shroud from the steering column, and test each wire that you see coming from the key cylinder.

There is a smaller guage GREEN wire running along side with the other ignition wires that is the keysense wire. You will only need to use this if the above is true. Leave the jumper in place after the programming is complete.

phqyouazzhol187, you should start a new topic for the problem you are having; this way you will get a better response. You should also provide us with more detail, likw what starter you installed and how did you try to bypass the transponder anti-theft system? When you say it doesn't start, do you mean that it wont start when you try to remotely start it, or when you use the key?
