Hi.

I have a 97 Mitsi Diamante, and it a Huatai HT-66 alarm has been installed in it (before I bought it).

Anyway, a while ago my first remote stopped working. I figured it was screwed cause a new battery made no difference.
Anyway, my second died today, so I cannot diasable or enable my alarm.
Problem is my alarm activates itself after 1 minute of leaving the car. So every time I get in the car I set off the alarm while I insert the key and flick my reset swtich 5 times. Not fun looking like a criminal.

Turns out my remotes are fine - the led light still works, and I had a good look today and when I press them the flashing led in the car for the alarm lights up, problem is the unit doesnt respond. So I know its recieving a singal from my remotes - but???

Can anyone help? Any suggestions? And any tips for when I get really annoyed and rip the thing out?

Thanks in advance!

Try to put it in valet mode.turn ignition on,hold reset switch for 5-6 seconds,L.E.D. should come on solid and stay on.this should turn the alarm function off.

Thanks for the info. I've tried it out several times now and it doesn't work with my alarm.
Been through the manual and everything, offers no advice on disabling my alarm.

I pulled out the siren the other day so I dont draw attention to myself everytime I enter my car, but its still anooying having to override the alarm every time.

Any other advice?
