hi all-

im thinking about replacing my current module with a peripheral DLGM1. im really turned about the idea of the windows rolling up thru the databus.

a google for DLGM1 turns up very little. anyone ever used one of these, or have any experience with them to share?

thanks..

well thought id help anyone looking at this module.

i went ahead and installed it along with my DLGMMulti. i only hooked up what was necessary for the windows. it works; it rolls up the windows thru the databus; but i dont like the way it works.

#1, it wont roll the windows up all the way if they are all the way down. it leaves them open about 1 - 2 ". i dont know of any adjustments, but even if there was, i would keep it because of #2:

#2, the module sends a "roll up window" pulse to all the windows for about 5-8 seconds. during that time, the motor is trying to roll up the window, even if they are all up. so instead of using current draw to sense when the window is up, all windows, regardless of their state, will be in the "up" position on the button for 5-8 seconds every time you arm.

i suppose thats what i get for being lazy and not hard wiring everything.
