I am trying to install a Python remote starter responder alarm system.

What do I need to do to keep these stock features?

- dome light with dimming
- perimeter lighting when unlocking at night
(headlights, reverse lights turns on for 30 seconds)

I have been using the dei 457g and really like it. If you cant find it i would try bypasskit.com have never used them but most seem to like them.

I use the GMBP and the MULTI-DL for this vehicle. All user functions are retained and integration of the modules is as easy as 4 wires on the GMBP and about 7-9 wires on the MULTI-DL.

I posted a summary of my install of a DEI alarm/RS with a GMDL-BP in a 2004 Envoy in some thread here last week. Do a search on my name and you'll find it pretty fast. You can PM me if you have any questions while you're doing it. Good luck. Pretty fun install- lots of room and hiding spaces all over the place.

that install took the whole day, but its done!

everything fine so far (the following unexpected things do not bother me)

- headlights flash slowly when R-starting (before inserting key)

- parking lights flash slowly when using Turbo-timer (before complete shutdown)

Make sure that the turbo function is programmed into the CPU ( ON ) and also if there is an option on the remote control, turn it on as well.
