Hi.`

I´m from Denmark  so my  english is not so good.

I have bougth a Giordon alarm with remote start. I have a problem with the engine starter. It stil runs  2-3 sec. after i have startet the engine with the remote. Can i adjust the alarm, so the starter dosent run so long?  

Hope somone can help me...

Pls check your "Giordon alarm" Violet wire connect to vehicle Tachometer wire or not?

Remote engine start run time is 8 min.

The Violet wire is connect to vehicle Tachometer wire.

what do you mean with: "Remote engine start run time is 8 min"

What year and make is the vehicle?

Did you test the tachometer wire for the proper AC voltage or just attach it to the wire indicated on your vehicle's wire color chart?

Did you go through the tach learn procedure successfully?

I am very sorry. This mean is "If you use alarm system remote start, the start feature is 8 minutes run time."
Now your problem is not this.

I think may be The Violet wire connect is not correct.
Pls check again this wire, or this wire re-connect to 12V output wire when the vehicle engin running.
