Hi;
I installed an Autopage 855 in a 1996 Plymouth Voyager. If I press the “*” button to remote start the vehicle, the vehicle will start, but the Autopage alarm activates and the siren starts wailing. The remote start sequence is tripping the alarm. I would expect this button to deactivate the alarm and start the vehicle. If I press the Unlock button first, then the “*” button, then the vehicle will start without the alarm tripping. How can I program the remote so that the “*” button will deactivate the alarm and start the vehicle.

It should bypass the shock sensor and start the vehicle whether disarmed or armed. What icon (hammer, door, etc...) is flashing on your lcd when the alarm goes off?
