It's basically an add-on to the factory keyless stand alone piece. Meaning all you need is the max-g7 no remote start module or anything else. I was told it should be out in a few weeks. I'm curious to see how they integrate everything such as park lights, hood pin, brake, etc - or if they do. If you've used the pkg7 bypass, if you install just the bypass itself and ground the brown input wire, the car will start and run on it's own no need for the remote start module aside from a way to trigger the bypass. Of course our success with the pkg7 has been iffy they program and work fine until the customer goes to do a key takeover which is when it randomly throws the check engine and security lights on. I've abondoned the pkg7 in favor of a key in the box.. Of course we also haven't gotten in the latest version of the pkg7 so that might have something to do with it. Trilogix has been out of commission lately on tech support so they are useless..
