i  am using the avital 4400 on this vehicle and for some reason everything is wired up right but when i remote start the vehicle with the 2way remote it will crank but no start and then try 2 more times after that and then shut down.  Then when i would just shake or just move the alarm brain around it will r/s fine then when i button up the pannel sh*t dont start so i try the regular remote to start the car and the regular non 2way remote  will activate the remote start  with no problem

i also tried the 2way remote again and nothing so then tried the non 2way remote and it remote start fine

anyone have any idea on this could it be a bad 2way remote or could the antenna be messed up or the brain

Make sure that no wires are being pinched, or otherwise interruped when you put the "pannel sh*t" or underdash or belly back on.

I know with Compustar, there are several different antenna's ( one way AM, one way FM, 2 way FM , etc ) make sure that you have the correct antenna for the system.
