just got it and im about to take my old viper alarm out and put this one in my Jeep today.  the question is that ive heard of being able to use extra channels to control garage door openers.  is there an extra module i have to buy to make this happen or is there some way to just program my alarm to my garage door opener?  thanks in advance!

Yes there is a module that interfaces with the door opener I am not sure about it working with the new 2 way systems though. I can look in my catalog tomorrow if noone else can give you a definite answer.

I don't know of the module you are talking about, but there is a way to do it without spending more than 5 bucks. go to your local auto parts store, and get a SPDT relay. take the cover off your garage remote, and connect the relay to the switch, and have a channell on the alarm trip the relay...
