I got a 02 excursion limited with the stock alarm. The alarm does control the door locks. I would like to add a oem remote start. Does anyone have any info on what is needed. Is it an add on or am I left with just the option of purchasing the Ford "GOLD" alarm package ????

I would suggest to get a aftermarket alarm/rs combo because you will get better range since factory will only work around 10-20 feet around the vehicle.
