I am trying to have my windows rollup whenever I hit the lock button on my OEM remote/alarm a single time. I picked up the DEI 528T pulse timer and have it in place and most of the work done, I just need help with the last three leads =)
Here is how I have the leads connected so far for testing:
black: ground
red: +12VDC
b&w input trigger: purple lock actuator wire in door
orange: unused
yellow: +12VDC
brown output: connected to voltmeter
Well at least the timer seems to be working, after each lock pulse the timer is indeed applying voltage to the brown wire for the duration of the timer. Now I just need to figure out where to connect the orange, yellow, and brown wires and I should be good to go. I also heard that the window cicruit on the G35 is expecting a -5VDC in order to operate, can I achieve that with this timer module?

if you trigger the unit with the lock actuator wire as described, every time you operate the door lock switch in the car, the windows will roll up. you could interrupt the trigger lead with a relay, disconnecting when in key is on accessory or ignition positions. the wires at the key cylinder in the door will perform the roll up/ down function as long as the key is help in that position. does the factory remote fob operate the same? brown to lock/arm/roll up wire, yellow to ground. hope this helps. mark

It's the "brown to lock/arm/roll up wire" that I'm having trouble with. I tried to look at a maintenance manual and wiring diagram but was not able to figure out which one I need...

if you want the windows roll up just conect to the orange (neg arm) you have to use a diode on that wire i did up and dowm with the viper 791xv and the same timer. What alarm are you using?

Yea I'm trying to do this with the factory alarm/remote. I heard you can hook the timer output to a lead in the power window module in the driver's door and close both windows, but I don't know what voltages it should be (+/-) or what lead I should be looking for.
dare_ds69: So you are saying I should run the brown wire from the timer to the orange one in the door? Which orange one, I think there are at least a couple in the various bundles.
Sorry for my noobness, I'm not an installer or all that good with electronics. I can solder fairly well and connect things up cleanly but that's about it =\

There is a module that you can buy to do this that will talk to the G35 computer. It may be the easy solution you are looking for. The module requires you to push the lock button twice and hold on the second push to raise the windows. It operates in the same way that the auto window rolldown does when you unlock the car and open the windows. you can use a 611t from DEI works fine in the windows ... wires right into the Lock/unlock wires .. rollls up /dn always use it

I think the DEI 528T should work, I just need to know which specific leads in the window wire harness to connect it up to.
Am I not asking this correctly?

Orange - No connection Yellow - Key cylinder 'lock' wire Brown - Ground If the IGN is on the BCM won't allow the windows to raise, so if you hit the 'lock' button the windows won't move. However, since this wire doubles as the 'LOCK' signal if you hit the 'lock' button the doors will lock twice. Also, you will have no way to stop the windows once they start to move, which could be a major safety issues.
