ok, anybody have any advice on the best way to get my winders to wireless go up and down and possibly make the radio come on after going down? it's an '05 mustang with nothing but the factory keyless/alarm. do i need to buy a remote start or alarm, and/or is there anything that can use the factory remote?

you should be able to wire in a couple DEI 530T modules that will give you control of the winders.  You'll want to check first to make sure that you have an auxilary output (this will remotely control the windows going down when you want) and a "ground when armed" output from the factory alarm (this will tell the modules to roll up your winders when the alarm is armed).

Since MOST factory alarms do not have this functionality.  YOu're best bet is certainly going to be getting an after market alarm.  If you're going to wire in an alarm and go through all the work, you might as well add remote start to the car.  You'll appreciate it the most in the hot summers and cold winters.

Plus it's good for your engine to let it idle until it's warm instead of driving it right away immediately after you start it and it hasn't had time to cycle oil throughout the engine that ran down into the pan all night long.
