I Recently just bought a house and it has a Garage Door and from what i understand i can buy a DEI 519 to add on to my current Security System. I have a Viper 791 though and i heard it will not work with it can someone please explain to me why it will not work. A friend of mine has a Viper 560 and he has it on his.......

because if you read the instructions the 519h said is compatible with 470t 475series,476 series ans 47i if you see on the back of your remote u will see it said 479v is not compatible
