Hello,

I'm about to connect a piezo siren on my Clifford Concept 600, got all the wiring layout figured out, just need 2 last pieces of info.  Just want to make sure I do this right and not mess anything up!

1- Should I use the egnition wire for my 12+Volt constant source, or should I tap into the radio cable or go direct to the battery?  The battery direct is probably the less desirable option for security purposes I assume.

2- On the wire that goes from my relay's 30&86 pins that will go into my 12+Volt constant source, the diagram on this website says "Fused 12+".  How big of a use should I use for a typical piezo?  I don't have the exact specs for mine, but it looks identical to one that uses 250mA.

Thanks,

Tony.

connect to the constant power wire at the ignition harness and put in a 15 amp fuse

use the ignition, the radio would not be a good choice, i would just tap it in behind the fuse for your alarm and then you dont' need another fuse

If you use it. Suport it. Donate to the 12 volt!
