Where is, if there is one, the factory re-arm wire in the BCM? The Crimestopper remote start I installed in my parents Tahoe has outputs for factory disarm and rearm. I got the disarm done as well as everything else. Just wondering on this one last thing.

the factory alarm simply arms when you lock the doors, to the best of my knowledge there is no "re-arm"

Just arm the car with the Crimestopper remote, and check to see if the "Security" light comes and flashes in the dash gauges. If it doesnt, then I *think* you have to have the door open, and then lock it.

i believe that statement is correct, if you lock the vehicle with the new system, the fact. alarm will not arm unless you lock it with the door open and then shut it.
