okay, first time posting here, i need to know where i can find a diagram for my 96 integra SE (5spd), i bought an used alarm/keyless entry kit, and want to "try" to install myself if its not complicated, does anyone know what exacly i will be needing, and if its difficult? thanks

p.s. i searched the forum and could not find what i was looking for thats why i posted this

Very straight foward install depending on the type of keyless unit you are getting. You will need a Digital Multimeter. Best thing to do is ask questions if you feel you don't quite understand something or concept. You will be surprise at the help you can get on this site.



DIRECTWIRE™ WIRING INFORMATION - ACURA / INTEGRA / 1996 / Keyless Entry


12volts white to WHITE/ black (50A)   +   ignition harness
Starter BLACK/ white   +   ignition harness
Ignition BLACK / YELLOW   +   ignition harness
Power Lock BLACK/ white   -   driver kick panel
Notes: In the larger of two attached gray plugs in the lower kick near the firewall. If equipped with cruise control, the plugs are behind the module. To access, remove the lower bolt on the bracket holding the module and pull it up out of the way. The lock wires test only with the passenger lock and unlock switch.
Power Unlock BLACK/ red   -   driver kick panel
Notes: In the larger of two attached gray plugs in the lower kick near the firewall. If equipped with cruise control, the plugs are behind the module. To access, remove the lower bolt on the bracket holding the module and pull it up out of the way. The lock wires test only with the passenger lock and unlock switch.

Notes: Looks like 14 awg wire but mostly insulation.
