i've done many of these chassis vehicles ( TB's, Envoys, etc) without this problem... what class II module did you use?

On some cars the stock alarm arms and disarms with the door locks. The RS has to send a pulse to disarm before starting. On some cars it's the unlock wire. car make model and alarm would be helpfull in the future.

i still would question the data module you used..... most starters that send an unlock pulse before crank also send a lock pulse after crank......

for you others, read his sig and you'll see he's got an 04 Trailblazer with a Clifford Matrix 3.5........

well kgerry maybe on his sig is his car and he's working on a friend, wife, cousin etc who knows he didn't specify. Thats why I'm asking I've learned along time ago to never assume. What you said is true most modules that send out before should send out after. But what if the installer didnt hook the after crank pulse up. I'm just trying to offer ideas.

after crank pulse is automatic and pulses the lock wire, there is no separate wire to "hook up" ....unless he didnt hook up lock and unlock at all..... which is why it would be nice to know A) if it is indeed his 04 TB this is in and B) what brand/model of data module he used.....

but you are right about assumptions... I "assumed" because he only had 1 post that this was the vehicle in question... i could certainly be wrong.....

Was this installed by you or a shop? If a shop, I'd strongly suggest taking it back and making them fix it. The climate controls not working are simply not hooking up an accessory wire-- the R/S locking problems are probably from hooking up the wrong wire on the 457G.

(Haven't installed a 457G yet, so I can't say for sure about that).

i tend to suspect that someone hooked arm/disarm & lock/unlock together..... this would give you that exact problem...when it sees a disarm pulse it is also unlocking the door....
