I've searched and searched, and can't find any general info about autopage alarms. Are they good? The brains aren't gonna crap out on me in 5 months are they? I'm going to be buying an alarm soon (I've got about 1200 worth of audio equipment in my car) and want to make sure it's of high quality.

Thanks,
Kevin

I'm looking at the 855LCD or the cheaper 720LCD. Thanks for the reply.

for a cheap product they are ok... better than the old code alarm stuff but not nearly as good as a DEI product.... i just bought another little s-10 shop truck and the first thing i did was pull out the autopage alarm someone had installed and put in a Clifford......

I have had my Autopage for quite some time. Even upgraded to the 855. Never had a problem even with the old one. I like the features of it more so then the DEI products.

Like the ol 12 volt montage: The alarm is only as good as the install.

Cheap?  The 855 LCDcosts the same as the 791xv.  The Autopage has more features, more outputs, and I think is the same calibur of quality.  The Viper really doesn't have anything over the Autopage.

I would compare the Autopages to the Vipers in quality and price points.  They are just as good as DEI products.

An alarm is only as good as the install.

I have had very few problems with the hundreds of Autopage alarms I have seen that were installed correctly.

I have an 855 LCD in my Explorer and I install nothing but Autopage everday. I love them. Haven't had a problem yet. Autopage is the alarm to go with. Trust me been installing them for two years. MECP certified.
