Hey guys im new to the forum but have been searching this site for a while.. i belong to many other forums and now how things work here..
ANYWAYS
I have a 1995 Dodge avenger... Shares alot of parts with a mistu eclipse 95-00 all the wiring is the same..
I recently had a Comustar 2wss ALARM installed.. i paid 439.00 with tax.. i live were tax is 9.5... SUcky!
but anyways ive been having some problems with it..
the installer did a very good job at installing it all soldering connectors everything.. im running a energizer E2 Lithuim battery in my 2 way..
Im having the following problems
I only get about 1/4 1/2 mile distance from my car.. no matter were i try.. country city open roads... anywere..
sometimes i will be standing next to my car hitting the button and i just get the signal icon. i hold the botton 1/2 sec ussually and if it dont work i hold it longer it dont work.. sometimes i have to press it 5-6 times before working..
we tried moving the antenna lower on my windsheild because it was mounted on my windsheild tint.. but nothing changed..
sometimes the alarm works perfect sometimes it doesnt.
i just got the alarm about a week ago.. the battery is BRAND new.. ive tried 2 diff BRAND new batts to make sure...
i know this alarm has delay issues.. but when it takes me to click a button 6 times to make something work its just not right..
they advertise 1.25 miles.. i only see 1/4 1/2 miles?
can some one please help!!
no other options were insatalled...

I'm having similar problems with mine, same alarm. I'll be sending the remote and antenna back to the dealer where I purchased to exchange for new ones. Hopefully that will resolve the issues. I'd like to hear what you ultimately did, and how it worked out.
