I need a switch for when my window bottoms out (or top) it breaks the circuit to stop the modor from burning out.

So what i need is not just a micro switch, because if the window turns that off i can't operate it to go back up, because the motor needs both wires (up and down) to be connected. So i need a switch that it can push to knock out the circuit for a second and then automaticaly goes back on, then i can wind up the window, which lets the switch go and can all happen again.

I hope you get what i mean, it's difficult for me to explain

Is there anyone who can help me.

Many Thanks in advance

Mark.

What you're looking for is some kind of circuit breaker. I know many power window systems use them to protect the motor from burning out if someone holds the switch down too long. Would that work?
