I know there are a lot of experienced installers on here, so here's a few questions...

This past weekend I installed the Clarion/Ungo SR6000 (same as DEI with two way paging LCD remote) on my Wife's 98 mustang cobra.

Despite taking a while to identify all the wires, everything is now hooked up and seems to be working fine.

Although, there seems to be some features that I'm not able to access.

Example - Warn Away:  When making an light impact on the body, the warn away doesn't come on.   A heavy impact sets off the alarm.

Example 2- Temperature doesn't work.  It's supposed to have a function where the LCD remote will tell temp.  Doesn't work at all.

I'm wondering if there are additional setup menus in the car alarm, that only pros can access.  I'm guessing these menus control these functions.

Does anybody know how I can get these functions to work properly?

Thanks!

Jason

on the warn away. the end that has the green wire that loop to the blue wire. this side needs to go to the shock sensor side.

as for the temp i dotn know never dealt with that model.

It sounds like you're saying: "swap the connector.  The end with the green wire loop should be connected to the shock sensor"

Is this correct?

Thank you.  Although I tried that.  Nothing happens.  I thought there might be some special menu system where I had to turn it on first.

You need to hold down the three buttons, (Lock, Unlock and Start) for @ 5 seconds.

Also, It will not work while in the remote start mode.
