I trying to program my replacement LCD astra777 transmitter, but I have the alarm set at no confirmation chirps, I need to get the chirps to chirp again for I can get the LCD Transmitter to work.I have no confirmation chirps. How do you do this with the regular remote? I looked in the owner manual and I just can’t figure how to do this.

I also tried this, it wont like I said chirp, because I disabled the chirp with the LCD Transmitter before I sent it off for repair and I received the new one for it’s replacementSo I do I get this working new LCD Transmitter working?

Adding/Replacing One-Way Transmitters To replace lost or stolen transmitters or to add additional transmitters into the system, have all desired transmitters ready and follow the steps below. Note: Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed to operate the system. To erase any previously stored transmitter codes, be sure to program all 4-transmitter memory locations.
To program the transmitter(s):

1. Turn on the ignition key On, Off, On, Off, and back On.
·The siren will chirp 3 times.
2. Press and hold the Override switch for 5 seconds.
·The siren will chirp 5 times.
·The LED will illuminate.
3. Press Button 1 on the first transmitter.
·The siren will chirp once.
4. Press Button 1 on the first transmitter again.
·The siren will chirp twice to indicate it has learned the code.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each transmitter (up to 4).
6. Turn off the ignition key.

Is there a difference between the override switch & Coded Valet Switch? Aren’t these 2 the same thing? This is stated in the owner manual

So how can I get my alarm out of the silent mode when armed or unarmed mode?
Ever since I did the full-time silent mode, I can’t reverse it.
Surly some one has reprogrammed a replacement Astra 777 LCD remote
I programmed it for full-time silent mode, so how can I get it back to chirping again?

I go thru all the steps outlined below, soon as I get to the last (keyed on 4 times)
I don’t hear the chirp 4 times? How do I get it chirping again, I think once I get around that it will program correctly. Like I said I used the broken remote to program it for full-time silent mode-know how would get it chirping again to normal, I know you can do this with the LCD remote, but I can’t reprogram it back because this LCD is not working yet.
Is there another way around this where I can get it chirping again for I can then program
Remote.

Any one has any more ideas here?

Adding/Replacing 2-way LCD Transmitters
When adding an optional 2-way LCD transmitter to the system, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the ignition key On, Off, On, Off, On, Off, and back On. (Key On 4 times)
·The siren will chirp 4 times.
2. Press and hold the Override switch for 5 seconds.
·The siren will chirp 4 times.
·The LED will illuminate.
3. Press Button 1 on the first transmitter.
·The siren will chirp once.
4. Turn off the ignition key.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to add an additional 2-way transmitter

The lights don't flash when the chirps are supposed to be sounding? Many alarms flash the parking lights or the LED at the same time as they give a chirp. You getting either of those?

I did get the normal chirps and the parking light flash, but when I programmed it from the LCD for full-silent mode and I still get the parking lights flashing, but no more chirping when I arm and unarm. I can’t get it back to the normal chirping mode, and I cant do it till I get the new one programmed but no chirps so it wont program at all.i'm going by what the book says to do and it's not programming.Mine flashes with the chirps of armed or unarmed by the remote.

Ok forget all the other stuff. When you do the key on-off etc to try and enter programming mode does the LED start flashing like 4 flashes and a pause or the parking lights?

So assume that it is chirping even though it is not. Did you try going through all the steps anyway. If you cycle the key 4 times and then press the override switch for 5 seconds does the LED illuminate? If so press button 1 on the new transmitter and then turn the key off and see if it programmed.

I don’t know about the parking lights, I can t see them from inside the truck; I’ll have to get some one to check tomorrow and see what happens.

As for the programming after the (keyed on4 times) I get nothing, I supposed to get 4 chirps, but there’s no chirps. Then I hold the override button for 5 seconds
And it goes to valet mode.

Are you sure it's valet mode? It sayd in the programming steps that the LED will illuminate at that point. When you turn the key off does the LED stay on?

Do you have the original spare working remote? Try resetting the alarm back to the original default settings and you should get the chirps back. Then retry learning the new remote. If it still doesn't program after all that then maybe they sent you a defective remote. Look on page 17 of the manual https://www.asianwolf.com/manuals/ASTRA777.pdf

I got it into (Default Reset Mode) and it worked with chirp confirmation, I have the regular chirps back, but still can’t get the LCD to reprogram itself. The alarm won’t confirm the four chirps. I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t confirm the 4 chirps, Sense the alarm isn’t confirming the 4 chirps, I’m wonder if the LCD isn’t working then the alarm can’t send a signal to it to program it self? I don’t think I’m doing anything worng, I’m going by the way it’s outlined in the manual.

I am getting chirps when it’s in the program mode, everything else but the programming the LCD is the only time it won’t confirm the chirps.I don't get it, it should just program like is says, it's not happening that way.

Maybe some one out here can help me here if you have the same alarm as mine can confirm to me your alarm will chirp after you key on 4 times and tell if it does chirp or not?

1. Turn on the ignition key on, off, on, off, on, off, and back on. (Key On 4 times)
·The siren will chirp 4 times…Do you get any chirps after you do this?

I just got off with a Syctek technician and we went over step by step to figure out what was wrong, he seemed to be reading out of a book telling me try this and try that. I was in my truck doing this, he couldn’t figure out what was going on, and then he says the yellow ignition wire was probably getting constant 12 volts so that s why it just cycled on and on instead of cycling with IGN 12v on and no power when IGN off. I told him no it’s not hooked to constant 12volts.It hooked up to constant12volts when key is on and no power when off. He wanted to check it for the power source, so 15 minutes later after taking the column apart to get to the wiring I used my DMM, prove this guy was wrong,He kinda scratching his head to figure what’s going on? Then he proceeds to tell me cut the IGN wire from the column and put it to another source of something like that, from there I couldn’t understand what he was trying to tell me, the technicians Mexican accent I couldn’t quite make out what he meant, then he hangs up on me, he said he didn’t hang up on me, he said it was a bad connection, I don’t know why it just happened. I called back as soon a he told me where to put the wire, still I ask what do you mean by that. Click…Hung up on me again, called back again and asked not to be hung up again like that again, same thing again. Know they won’t even answer my call, so I used another phone with a different number they answered right away, some one else answered and he hung up on me. I need help with this alarm and they treat me like this.
