I've had my Viper 791xv on my car for about 5 months now I think and it has worked great until now. When it is "chilly" outside which is anything below about 50 degrees, when I disarm my alarm it disarms and everything, but the doors do not unlock. I have to unlock my door with the key. When I get in the car and crank it, the doors lock automatically like they should and when I reach my destination and cut the car off, they unlock as they should. After the interior of the car is warmed up, the doors will unlock fine with the remote. When the unlocking isn't working, I can arm the car and hear the doors relock and then when I disarm, I hear chirps, but no door lock actuators. What could be wrong?

U may have to use Relays for a STRONGER GROUND
Sometimes using the Alarm Units 250 - 500 ma Lock / Unlock wires do NOT supply a STRONG enough Pulse. After some use the ma's drop some and produce erratic problems
Also, I would want to REPLACE the Resistor for the same reason

i have a relay on each wire, one for lock and one for unlock. i simply used automotive relays that a place like Advanced Auto and Auto Zone sell. Is there a relay that would be better suited for this that would respond well to the weak amp.?

The UNLOCK Relay sounds like the culprit...........Make sure of the GROUND going to your Relays & be sure of the connections to the FACTORY Wiring ------------- MO

I like Bosch.......But then U can play the NAME Brand game .....
Just be sure of your connections & Ground
