i just got an alarm (X plore xr-7025) when i hook up the engine start and press the button on the alarm pager the starter just keep going and going. what do you think its the problem??.. the guy that installed said it was the alarm brain..

BTW this is on a 95 jeep cherokee

meaning it keeps on crancking? maybe the tach wire is not hooked up.

ok so according to the info:

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alarm Information

the tach wire is gray/white it says on the location "coil"

can i find the cable under the dash?

Usually not, The coil should be easy to spot. Its also the best location for a tach wire

so that means i need to find that cable in the engine bay? then run it back to the alarm? would it mess with ignition at all?? sorry .. like i said ive never done this before

no it won't mess with the ignition at all, just make sure you do a good job of splicing into the wire.

Use the injector instead. Work for me 100 % of the time. Above is a pic of a Jeep engine and the injector wire will be anyone that is uncommon between the injectors.
