I need some desperate help.  I have a 99 mercury couagr  and i a just moved to mass.  The remote start (prestige) is hooked up through a ford bypass box.  It worked fine until i moved here and now its acting up when it gets cold in the morning.  The car doesnt start until i disconnect the box from the internet or until i guess the spare key inside the box warms up?  I think the when the chip inside the key gets cold  it doesnt work. Can someone please help me.  Is there another  module that i ahve to use?

Try replacing the universal key bypass with a Ford transponder bypass that does not require the key to be left in it. These are less susceptible to the cold.

If you think it is a Temperature issue:
Try Remote Starting with your Key inserted into the Ignition.  The Key that is in the Transponder Box may be a Generic Key & may need to be moved around in the Box or swap it with a Known FORD key
